Integrative Body Therapeutics (IBT) is a healing art modality that combines movement patterning, somatic education, and Rolfing/Structural Integration (SI). IBT is a deep and comprehensive bodywork system and is effective on an immediate level. Localized discomfort is often a symptom of a larger systemic problem that must be dealt with to achieve a long-lasting relief. This method utilizes a larger perspective and works to reorganize the holistic body. By realigning the structure, IBT facilitates long-term health, intelligence, and resilience as a more permanent solution to pain or dysfunction.
My goal guide people to optimal awareness and function in their body.
The benefits are far reaching and include: easing both chronic and acute pain, increasing range of motion, correcting posture, promoting awareness to the whole body system and supporting sustainable positive change in one’s life. Through extensive training and hands on experience, I have developed the ability to re-align and balance relationships in the body’s myofascial and skeletal systems. Based on each client’s patterns, habits, and needs, I can design an individualized healing protocol that includes sessions of slow, deep, and precise manual therapy, as well as movement re-patterning.
I feel honored and excited to be offering this unique bodywork modality.
